A lot this information is not new but, it is always good to be reminded. so I picked my number #1 of the top ten things to maintaining good health is consistency and discipline..
In life if it is important to us or a habit we do it, for example.. brushing our teeth we do it daily no problem.
Well them why it is so hard to feed ourselves with nutritious food and exercise? It's the emotional decisions, so loving ourselves doesn't always look or feel like loving ourselves..??? regardless of how we feel, We fuel our car, When we look at fuel our body with the highest quality gas, and do the maintenance on it to prevent brake downs on it we will start to feel and see the results. Education finding health a health way to live is a choice.

Today’s #2 of the Top 10 things to maintaining health as we age is living Chemical Free (including Modern medicine and or medication I will disuses this later)! AND SUGAR FREE!! REALLY guy’s sugar is crack not only for the body for the brain. There are studies out now that show mental illness directly related to sugar there are lots of yummy treat you can make and get with natural sugars.. Read the ingredients. If you can’t read it or pronounce it don’t eat it..
The chemicals in food cause cancers and disease
Simply put taste buds are malleable… change is never easy but do it for a while and you’ll begin to like..be like NIKE and just do it..
All those sport drinks, O cal drinks are filled with chemicals. Even to my dear friends in the gym those prework out drinks, protein powders they are all have chemicals. I have News for you, truly whether the drink has calories or not it still digests the same way as sugar. You May as well drink the regular full calorie drink.
Today #3 Eat from the earth, if it doesn’t come from the earth , ..it’s not for me.
Simplify things! Like take the time to make you lunch. Stay home and make dinner. Take some cooking classes. Educate yourself there a lot of resources today we are lucky. At your local wholefoods or co-op and even with the Internet today people are teaching classes everywhere on healthy organic nutritious cooking. Get together with your girl friends and exchange healthy receipts, do dinner together.. Make it fun!!
Today’s #4 of the Top 10 things to maintaining health as we age is hydration. This one is uber important! So not only for the obvious reason that we are made of mostly water and we simple need it maintain homeostasis, keeping our electrolytes and ph balanced. But for it run properly to cleansing, detoxifying, and eliminate toxins out of the body our bodies are amazing and they have naturally built in.
So this will hit on the Day #2 Caffeine and energy drinks, well horrible for you! For 2 reasons.. Chemicals and The dehydrate you to all get out.. so for every cup of caffeine you need 2 cups of water.
As a colon Hydrotherapist , this is a major issue the colon is where we store our water and stay hydrated. So First of all as a society we a constipated nation it is common. People think its normal to poop once a day. The truth is if your eating a meal you should be releasing a meal and if your not your storing that meal in your colon. SO think about our colon is 10 feet long with lots of pockets and this is how diseases start if it not coming out its staying in your body and those toxic are going back into you blood stream putting a heavy load on your internal organ specifically your liver. And then your white cells… SOO this all started with dehydration.. Caffeine addiction as a nation.. SO we need to get hydrated.
A lot of people come to me and tell me…&%&$ coffee helps me poop in he morning! OK! Try getting off caffeine completely get completely hydrated clear out your impacted colon and then see what happens>>
I was also caffeine addicted. I used to poop 1 time a day with addictive herbal product that I couldn’t live with out. Today I got to the poop 5 times a day literally after every meal I eat and I am hydrated and my skin is clear, I absorb my nutrients, and my metabolism improved..
Hydration, is the key to so may issue but from my point of view it is the most important. If our system is clogged. We become sick and toxic. They only way to prevent that is through Water
How Much water should a person drink??
This varies person to person, and depending on outside environment and physical activity. but on average a person should drink?
You should drink enough water that you don’t feel thirsty and your urine is clear. At least 3 litters to a gallon of water.
I would say 90% of you body weight
This means filtered water – sport drinks and don’t count
I would encourage you all to try, for the next month. To increase you water intake and do something fun Like squeeze lemon or lime in it, it’s great it help cleanse the liver.. Make it fun, find something you like, weather it be yoga, the gym, cross fit, running along the river, kick boxing, Pilate's, yoga, jump rope, walk. I suggest try it all. Just get moving get your heart rate up, find a partner and make it fun. Exercise can be very enjoyable and rewarding. The best part is what it dos for your over all health, in 30 a day you benefit the fallowing

2.combats health conditions and diseases
3.improves mood
4.boost energy
5.promotes better sleep
6.puts a sparks back into your sex life
7.Self esteem
Find a friend and try something new, I am a big fan of yoga, if there is something that everyone should try, please try yoga if you have not.. its amazing for so many reasons!!
For me I do a little bit of everything I like to keep it new and fresh and fun. Currently my every days are filled with cardio-I like to get out in nature.. I feel connected to my Devine spirit when I am in nature more and more. Sure some days I it doesn’t always workout that way but I try. I also train in the gym.
BOTTOM LINE THIS GOES BACK TO #1 CONSISTENCY, JUST DO IT! TRY IT YOU’LL LIKE IT

At the end of the day we are responsible for our health. I look at my sister when she is parenting my nephew and it’s amazing, she is a wonderful parent. If we parented our inner child like we would parent our own child or nephew.
The things we do to our body no one else would do to us, so why do we do it to ourselves?
There are people who would consider this selfish; I say we have to have it so we can give it away. If we are not health and being the example how can we help others?
Let’s take this for example id your looking for a trainer are you going to go to a trainer that’s over weight and not training no I didn’t think so.
So let talk about how do you love yourself, it to me looked nothing like loving myself.. I thought it was treating my self and yes, we desire treats but my treats look entirely different them they did even a year ago. Today it’s like parenting that inner child. Sweaty I know you want that but uh, is that a good choice? Yeah ok maybe another day… Today let’s do this.. And amazing things start to happen..
Loving yourself is feeling those emotions there are studies out about how emotions shut down important parts of the liver.. The truth is we are have them and to express, is essential to our bodies chemistry. Our society say we are week and ego play’s a major role in that, we are a society walking around numbing our feelings and emotions and it is toxic and causing us serious health issues.

Honestly this is something I am still working on, this is so deeply ingrained in me and I believe in our culture that it drives the feeling of inadequacies in most human. That if we are not something or if we do not achieve something then… who or what are??
I got news for you. What you do… doesn’t matter at the end of the day… there is not luggage rack on a Hurst. But the people you impact in this live that will carry on forever!
I can’t tell you how many time choose not to do something because I wanted to work… for MORE money because my mind told me I needed it!
The greed, self-centeredness and the lifestyles we create, will resemble the what’s important to us.
The most painfully events in life are when we miss out on true human relationships..
So, I encourage loving and making loving relationships! Be present, Really listen to people and connect. Cherish those around you1 Find way to be of service and keep it simple.. Make time in your life for the ones you love and enjoy them..
There are a lot of health studies that show that those that have health relationships, have less health issues. Let’s face in a society that people connect through the Internet and communicate with electric devices, how does that effect the human needs? We are emotional creatures we, need other human being. The mental illnesses are at an all time high and I believe that is all due to not enough human connect and truly connecting and a deep and intimate level. We all need and require that, we are so busy numbing our selves with various distractions that we don’t even know who we are anymore.. Find yourself slow down and falling love with life, reach out and connect with another soul that is crying out for exactly what your crying out for and may not even know it….Blessings!
Today's #9 of the Top 10 things to maintaining good health as we age is getting Quality regular sleep. The truth is everyone requires about 8 hours plus or minus. But the quality is very important, remember that every hour before 12 is like twice that you get after midnight..
Not to mention good quality sleep effect your heart, weight and your mind.. You just feel better. There are lots interesting studies on sleep. The first one is that those that lack sleep and lack REM are linked to developed schizophrenia. An alarming 80% so yeah make sleep a priority. Our mental health as a nation is suffering because we are focused on the exterior in obsessed the disses of more.
We need a bigger house and a new car, so we go to work.. we work more maybe 2 jobs, and we eat like shit cause we are on the run.. we don't exercise and we don't spend quality time with our family and friends and when we do we aren't really present because, We lack sleep, we are always tired and we feel like shit. We become miserable, we start fixing and numbing ourselves.... and we get sick and toxic...?
We are raised with old belief system that we hold on to and make us toxic. Let GO, Let GOD!
You can stop the insanity
Insanity is doing the same thing expecting the same result
Do something different today

Whether it’s Jesus, Nature, A yogi, Gandhi, A swami, A guru, yoga, Buddha, Allah, native American path, Devine energy.. and I am sure there is thousand I didn’t list. Find a source that works for you. You’re not alone! I suggest everyone have at least 30 minutes of alone silent time a day I like to call it mediation… When you sit in silence you will see there is something so grand and so vast that you cant even put a name or a finger on it.. To do so is limiting in itself? Tap into that energy.. it will guide you.
Finding your purpose that may be as simple as helping others.. your passion should wake you up in the morning and motivate you>> and tickle you pink!! You simple can’t wait to share yourself with other and help the world become a better place with your special gift we all have one, that is why we are here? So what it yours and get busy sharing it>>>> we need you and trust me you need it too!!
